orientation and AP credit

My son is going to orientation in the begininning of June and he is to schedule for Fall at that time, but his AP test results from all of his tests taken in May of his senior year will not be back. How is this handled? Do you just try to guess how you may do and/or schedule around those classes?

Yes (10 character)

At my D’s Red Carpet day College of Liberal Arts and Sciences session Monday. the advisor strongly suggested that freshmen take a math class and foreign language class in their fall semester if there is a chance they will need those classes in their intended
major(s). The advisor says typically students have a much rougher time succeeding in those classes once they take a semester or two “off.” So my D plans to sign up this summer for a math class, then drop it and substitute something else if it turns out her AP score gets her out of that math class.
