I heard that at orientation they divide you by majors. I am registered as an Undeclared-Humanities, but I screwed up and would much rather be Undeclared-Social Sciences.

Is this going to be a big problem at orientation?
What kind of problems will I face?

it's not a problem at all. the only way your major is used during orientation is to put you in the same group (your OC group) with others that have declared the major you have. they're just trying to help you connect with people of similar interests, THAT'S IT.

It depends on your major. Such as with the professional schools (such as film) it's important to be in the right group to get your school's specific requirements (since they may be different than the rest of the school's) and meet up with your school's counselors (not talking about the OCs).

However, with the majors you listed, I highly doubt the above is applicable. They just want you to meet others in your same vein. They might have more pertinent information about your major with the other group, BUT everything you need to know is online. So just read up on it. No biggie.
