Through the orientation sessions organized by the university, you can learn a great deal about student life. To register and attend one of these sessions, please visit the orientation site.

Hmm, are we allowed to register on the site or do we have to wait for the package we get in late May to register? I went to the site but it seems to be only information about what orientation is..

That's weird.... yeah, I got that e-mail too, but the Orientation site looks exactly the same as it was before (didn't find any way to register online).

I got it too, and the orientation site says to log onto My UCLA, but I can't find anything about orientation on myucla. Help from anyone who knows what to do would be appreciated.

Yes you have to do an educational planner before you are able to sign up for the actual day for your orientation. It's just this long survey type thing where you answer questions so your orientation counselor (sp?) will know you better before having met you. And you can sign up for orientation prior to receiving the package in the mail. I would recommend that you sign up for it as soon as they allow you to sign up for it because waiting for the mail, you'll be stuck with like the last orientation session. Early orientation sessions just ensure that you get the classes that you want during your first quarter and all that stuff. Once sign ups come out, they will be literally posted right in front of your face on my.ucla. Anyway, have fun!

hey are the orientation dates on weekends for 1st years? i'm asking because i don't think i can afford to miss work for 3-5 days or else...are there any sessions on the weekends?
