How much free time should one expect during the freshman orientations and how do most students spend this time? From looking at the schedule posted on the orientation website, it seems like the daily schedules aren't very packed. Also, is there a curfew?

yes plenty of free time. no curfew youre adults now. they do check ids after a certain time at night to be able to enter the dorm building again for security measures but this is standard policy

So you're saying orientation students will be staying in a residential hall?

i did during my orientation. they wouldnt check if they stay somewhere other than a residential hall. but they usually reserve the nice plazas like de neve for the snotty little kids for leadership camp or rich kids sports camp so they can milk them for their money. sunset usually houses scholarship people and some other group like international students?

when was your orientation?

for the last two years it's been in rieber vista.

My year (2007) was in Rieber Terrace. Do whatever you want after the last event ends, you don't even have to go to the workshops and stuff. You kinda might want to if you wanna get your money's worth. Explore Westwood. Go to Pinkberry with your orientation group. No curfew. The first night I stayed over at my boyfriend's. Ahh, good times.

is there a curfew for people who are 17? my orientation is 2 days before my birthday...lol

there is no curfew for anyone, this is college...

ohhowiwish is either a transfer or 4th year then.

residential hall for orientation? dang that sucks, hahaha

i'm out of the loop :(

i had to take a year off in between school because i needed surgery + recovery time
