there is going to be certain teachers i want to get when i sign up for class a week from now. English comp 3 teachers can only take 10 kids initially so in the orientation itself, is there some sort of division as to who gets to sign up first because there are probably a lot of kids who want the same teacher. sorry if that sounded confusing.

No, it's all random.

the good news is the vast majority of engcomp 3 professors are exceptional

greg rubinson was an awesome guy. (hint hint). the class was about comedy, absurdity and satire. i remember one of our first homework assignments was to watch an epsiode of simpsons and south park. :D

ahh i have that professor as my #1 choice for engcomp 3... your post now makes me rush faster to sign up for him. if not, theres like 6 suitable backups.

haha I agree. From my "research", I'm signing up for either Fallows, Steinberg, or Rubinson. (preference in that order)

I had the exact same order as you, sofaking. Except I had to switch Steinberg because his classes are all filled.

not all of steinberg is filled are they? and who the heck already signed up for that class if only freshmen enroll in eng comp 3 sections 1-50??? thats a mystery.

yeah, I was wondering... a lot of classes seem to be filling up quick. I had a great schedule all planned out, and now one of the classes I wanted is closed :(

make that two classes. this sucks.

oh wow. steinberg is completely filled, no matter what time he is teaching. that doesnt make sense... he is highly rated but so are several others who have nobody in their class. AND WHO IS SIGNING UP FOR ENG COMP 3? must be the system against us.

i agree, namaste! i cant figure out why a nonfreshman is taking comp 3?
