I have a 2-part question related to the summer orientation sessions for the fall 2010 admits:
- do the students spend the night in a dorm?
- if they do spend the night in a dorm, is an additional sign-up required - or - is that night included in the sign-up?

thanks.

Hi cinnpatch,
The summer orientation is a 2 day process and you will spend the night on campus. This year there will be no additional sign-up required since the overnight stay is now built in to the orientation schedule instead of being optional. If you want to have a parent or guest attend orientation with you, you will need to add them through the online orientation sign up in your isis.uark.edu account. On-campus accommodations are not provided for guests, but there are a number of hotels near campus they (or I) can recommend for guests.
Hopefully that helps, let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.

Thank you so much - that makes sense. I’m already signed up for a session and saw the optional night stay as grayed out on ISIS, then read online about the change for this summers sessions. Just wanted to make sure I was squared away.

I’m so happy that this thread is active now - i’m really looking forward to UARK in the fall!

You’re very welcome, glad to hear you’re coming and certainly looking forward to having you on-campus! Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.
