<p>One of my friends said it would be availble today but I never got anything in the mail. Does anybody else know more about it? He also said that the early orientation dates get more choices for classes because they get to register earlier. Is that true?</p>

<p>you can register on the UGA site...go to "Admissions" then select "Orientation"</p>
<p>You can register?? When I go to the orientation page, I see the following message:</p>
<p>"Registration for a Fall Semester Orientation session will be available on this Web site beginning on May 8."</p>
<p>But I don't see anywhere to register. Am I missing something?</p>

<p>mannn...you can't possibly tell me that the Orientations filled up SO quickly that I was scheduled for friggin JULY 12TH (the latest date I checked off)...I just scheduled last night...I thought it was on a first come, first serve basis...and I thought I was early...guess not...</p>
<p>ok, so i was assigned to the july 12th date, which is kind of odd because I checked the first six in june, but I guess they ran out of space already. But the dilemma is I'm going to be traveling in july, my dad already bought the tickets for us believing that I would be attending orientation in june, and it's really important that I go. My question is, will UGA let me change my orientation date to a later one, the ones in august maybe, or are the dates set and final?</p>
<p>Man this sucks. I signed up as soon as I heard the site was actually running and I got the last one in June (which my last requested date). I was really hoping to get something earlier because now I am going to go straight from orientation to itally in less than 12 hours. I am going to be dead tired!</p>
<p>Yea I too registered early and got assigned late june, but I emailed them back and ask to be reschedule to June 8th and it worked.</p>
