<p>what's your major?? chem is typically only taken by science majors so i'd assume it's pretty tough. i took physics of music for a lab science and found it challenging but at least applicable to life.</p>
<p>Eeeek, then I don't know now. My major is CJ, so it is completely unrelated, but there were no other classes I wanted to take for the lab science. Other than Physics of Music or whatever, what would you suggest?</p>
<p>if you've taken astronomy in high school, i've heard that ASTR101 is alright, but i don't know firsthand.</p>
<p>PHYS115 is new (to my knowledge) and seems pretty basic [i'd probably have taken that if it was available seeing as i am not a science person at all]</p>
<p>the biology department has an introductory biology course for non-science majors (BSCI103, instead of 105) which i assume would be easier. but the chem department doesn't, which is why i'd say stay away from chem unless you remember a lot from HS and were good at it there :)</p>
