i have a question..say i m going to orientation of my school on a certain date..do they subdivide the people within the schools? or does all the orientation kids of one school all go together?? if they do..do we get to choose who we are with? coz i m going to the same orientation with my friends...will i be able to be with them?

Chances are that you'll be separated from your friends at various points through out the 2.5 days.

For the most part, the separate schools (LSA, honors, RC, engineering, etc.) stay together. But on the second day, they separate all of these into separate groups for special advising.

Even so, at the beginning, you'll be assigned a letter and a number, used to help separate you into one of four groups.

Regardless, you'll most likely be able to eat lunch with your friends, and you'll definitely be able to hang out with your friends during the night.

well we are all from the same school.............

but would they really care if we dont follow the letter and number and just all jump into one group?

I don't think it matters. Only time it would matter is when they split engineering to engineering, etc.
