<p>I'm wondering how strong the on-campus music scene is at Ivy's and top liberal arts colleges. Are there a lot of original (non-cover/tribute) bands or should I not count on it?</p>
<p>At my ‘top’ LAC, we have an original band in one of our dorm basements every weekend. I’ve yet to check any of them out though.</p>
<p>Vampire Weekend is made up of a bunch of Columbia students.</p>
