Thoughts? It was sudden for me.

Don't watch it on Fox....they were laughing at his death.

Thoughts? It was sudden for me.

Don't watch it on Fox....they were laughing at his death.

Well then…

And the crowds CNN is showing are celebrating his death. So what’s the difference?

Not a lot. But David’s link…

Also, Fox news had Osama spelled “Usama” for like half an hour.

Fox is only good for a laugh

Like the simpsons, american dad and Fox News

dude hasn’t done much since he had to go underground anyways. so basically, nothing’s changed, except for morale. i’ll be celebrating when this ridiculous war is truly over.

That’s a valid alternate spelling and actually a more accurate spelling of the name.

and lol @ those pix
if it weren’t fox news, i might impressed by the quality of that shop

@rmyd, give it a month and a new war would start

I’m a little disgusted at all the people cheering about his death. He was an evil man, but he was still a human being.

A life is a life regardless.

^Agreed…but people are people…not everyone has the same thoughts.

I think they’re cheering for what it represents; a feeling of closure, moving towards a possible end.

I just wish we could have thrown him in general population of Rikers Island.

“Princess”: He should have been drawn and quartered, televised pay-per-view, with the proceeds going to 9-11 victims. America has every right to celebrate this victory over a worthless piece of trash.

He will just be replaced by another…it is the way things are…plus now there is an added fear of repercussions. Earlier today I heard talk of the threat level being elevated (I live on a military base) and was wondering what the deal was and now I see why.

Not as an international symbol of that magnitude, no.

True but he didn’t start out as an international symbol…so in time yes he could be.

The new guys won’t have the benefit of billions of dollars of US CIA training.

Ha ha. I’m currently in a facebook flame war about the lack of trial. Playing devils advocate to watch kids get ****ed off. It’s fairly entertaining. However, in all honesty, I’m not sure where I sit with this whole dead Osama bit.

He was a mass murderer, he deserved to die.

I see no reason to be stoical about the death of a serial killer. It’s a good thing that he’s dead, and I feel no guilt having a celebratory shot of tequila for it.

I could pretend to be noble and somber about this, but ultimately I can’t deny that hearing Osama has been killed brings some joy to me and the hope that this may lead to a lessening of our involvement in the War on Terror.

I’m cheering because he’s dead, and it’ll be a cold day where he’s hanging out now before I apologize for it.

edit: " However, in all honesty, I’m not sure where I sit with this whole dead Osama bit. "

Seriously? How old are you?

$50 says he’ll be sending out a video, congratulating the U.S on killing his twin brother. haha.

Meh… My opinion? Good riddance.
