The Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution is not just. They assume a lot of things and if you are caught for whatever reason, they already have their minds made up before they even hear what you have to say. They do not believe what you say, despite it being the truth. Their aim is to make sure that there is a “51% percentage chance” that you have broken a rule, whether you actually have or not.

In my experience, OSCCR has been completely fair. I’ve not been caught but have had friends that have been, and they had a simple talk about what happened and more or less promised not to do it again. I don’t think it’s that hard to not smoke/drink in the dorm.
Sounds like scorpia had a bad experience with OSCCR.
