I have to choose between them. OSU is major in international studies , Pitt is undeclared.

There is very LITTLE information concerning their art and humanities program, but much about science/health/business/pre-med. information. Please help, thanks so much.

OSU hands down. Fisher business school is very powerful and the alumni are great.

You should check out businessweek rankings and US News Rankings. In the business world, credentials and who you know is key. Networking at OSU will be phenomenal for all fields of study.

Thank you very much, wait for comment for long time. I know that business/medical are strong in OSU, however, I am interested in humanities and anthropology, international studies(culture, language, history mainly) where I did not have much information, as seldom people mention or talk about about them.

Such interests will rely strongly on the schools’ business program. Anthropology is not really a science, so it isn’t ranked. However, OSU’s fisher school of business ties will enable you to go far in your international studies. As far as anthropology goes(which is where most of your interests fall under) I don’t know too much about it. OSU should have a great anthropology program. OSU is a huge research school with a strong science backround. I’m sure with the business school and the research ambition you will be able to do well in anthropology as well.

Out of those two schools, OSU is great.

However, I would recommend University of Washington - Seattle. EXCELLENT programs for what you want. Also, the school is 32% asian with a large out-of-state and international population. UW’s foster school of business is great too. Being in Seattle and on the west coast gives a lot of opportunities.

Ohio State has an international studies major which is separate from the international business major in Fisher- so while Fisher is fantastic, and a great reason to come to Ohio State, a student majoring in international studies takes mostly classes in history and the social sciences/ political sciences, rather than in business.

Thanks all. @Sparkeye7. I did the researches from their school pages and US News etc for hours daily. Even I have not yet received the offer from OSU up to today, nearly 12 weeks passed since my application at the end of January. My SAT score is reached. I did send email to the.I keep on research for fear that the result comes out suddenly, but the deadline of Pitt is near. I want to have specific comparison about their majors on international studies, culture or arthropology, whereas sociology, political science, economic, fine art etc are not my interests and strength.
