OT, but would appreciate an opinion (New Haven)

Never been to New Haven. Would you say the shopping (clothes) for guys is decent? There's only one Urban Outfitters in CT, so what else will I find if I take a drive down there? I'm assuming that all college towns have fun and funky clothing stores, but maybe not. Thanks.

Urban Outfitters, J. Crew, American Apparel, Trailblazer/Denali…it’s kind of decent? :]
Definitely more boutiques and such catered towards girls.
But if you are free on weekends and you need to do some major, major shopping, you can go to the CT Post Mall in Milford (AWESOME.)

Sounds good – thank you so much. We’ll give it a try. Where to eat? Any of that famous pizza nearby?

No problem!
OMG THE FOOD
The food makes New Haven…well, New Haven!
Tons of great pizza around - Sally’s and Pepe’s are rivals, and then Bar Pizza (which is also a night club) has a chef from Sally’s. All three are to die forr…always crowded though. And across from Bar is Louis’s Lunch, with supposedly the first hamburger ever. For another great burger place, there’s the Educated Burgher. Hmm Miya’s Sushi is supposed to be awesome, and Ivy Noodle is the place for inexpensive chinese food. Then there’s Claire’s Corner Copia for really yummy vegetarian/vegan dishes, lots of Delis, Ashley’s Ice Cream for homemade churned ice cream (voted best in CT), Au Bon Pain near the Yale bookstore, tons of great cafes…
Okay, there’s wayyy too many places to name. And Yale’s dining halls are pretty good too, of course.

Louis’s Lunch is the number 1 reason why I want to go to Yale.

Just don’t ask for ketchup.

New Haven isn’t a big shopping town. It’s not that big.

It has a cute college town, in general it is decent. What are we talking about, the Mall of America?
And CT is big on shopping. We love our shopping :P

It’s true.

And if you really need to get dressed up and go out for brunch and shopping a la Sex and the City, New York is really not that far away.

Haha exactly! Thank you for mentioning that, PN! How could I forget NYC?

When you say PN it makes me think of BN… did you guys have those? BN BN do dooooo doododo… youtube it
