Other choices?

So, I am freaking out a bit. I've applied to three colleges last year around November (UTK, Vanderbilt, CBU) and I feel like I need more choices. UTK is being very stingy with the financial aid, as I've only received $6,000 from them and today just recieved an email that I have been denied from the Chancellor's Scholarships. CBU is too close.

I live in Memphis, TN and I want to go to a college that is somewhat far from here. I want to live on campus. The size of the college does not matter and I just want a college that will give me good chances at getting accepted to a nice graduate school. I want to pay as little as possible. Financial aid is very important.

Another issue right now is that it is too late to apply for many colleges and their scholarships, so I will need one that will give me the opportunity to apply for some scholarships.

I'm thinking of a majoring in the medical field, but want to have a chance to explore computer sciences.

Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.9512 | weighted: 4.2805
ACT: 32 (English: 34, Math: 29, Reading: 31, Science: 33) | superscore: 33 (reading: 36)
Rank: 5th (Still improving)
I have plenty of leadership and community service

I know of schools that are taking applications, but none that still are accepting scholarship applications. The $6,000 Volunteer, plus Hope of $4,000 and GAMS of $1,000 will pay for your tuition and your books and stuff. Have you gotten your EFC from FASFA yet. Also have you submitted your CSS profile for Vandy aid? The deadline for Vandy Aid is next week I believe.

Mind listing them?
My EFC is 10k and yes i’ve filed everything

I know we continue to get emails from Oglethorpe in Atlanta asking us to apply. A good school and I hear they are good with the need based aid. If S wanted to apply somewhere else, that is where I would recommned. LSU comes to mind too. Not sure about their aid though. Wooster and Hampden/Sydney sent an email yesterday.

One question. Has UT contacted you about the need based financial aid. I would expect that your total out-of-pocket should not exceed the $10K. That should be pretty consistent where ever you apply.
