Other plans after RSI rejection

So what are your backup summer plans?

What do you want to work on until college apps

Me:
1. I applied to MITES, SIMR, SSP and etc. I hope I can get into one of these programs
2. Raise my SAT/ACT to 2300/35 respectively, submit research paper to SIEMENS/Intel, study for my 4 APs for National AP Scholar, work harder for higher GPA, lead clubs (pres of 5 - Science, math, Robotics, Doctors, and Economics), study for competitions like Economics challenge, Federal challenge, AIME, take the Putnam for fun haha, USA Physics Semis hopefully, and etc. I'm also planning on coaching the middle school in Mathcounts and Science bowl to states/nationals hopefuly, and volunteer at local hospital. Also, college visits by Questbridge program (hopefully) and yea...

Lastly, I want to say everyone that didn't get into RSI... Don't give up! It's a summer program, even though it has high acceptance to good schools. Don't ever forget that when applying to colleges they look for passion in everything you do not necessary just math and science. Do stuff out of the extraordinary...
-Learn programming if you haven't
-Learn how to get involve in your community
-Start up a club, company, organization or anything
-Maintain good relationships with teachers who wrote you those recs.

I'm sure RSI has rejected some sort of amazing applicant that turn out to be NSF scientists, Nobel Laureate (?), etc in there career.

Overall, peace out everyone! Good luck (:

I’m curious to hear about what next after RSI rejection as well.
