<p>Hi guys. So... let's be happy that we weren't REJECTED :P </p>

<p>and uhm, so this thread is for </p>

<p>1) posting what you've heard about alternates in the past and
2) discussing your other plans for the summer and
3) getting over RSI :) </p>

<p>so </p>

<p>1) that no one has really moved up from the alternate list.
2) i also applied to some other things... if i'm not accepted i can always do research at a local lab! that is actually a lot of fun i wish i didn't have to go to school cuz then i would spend all my time there... KINDA haha.
3) getting over RSI... hmm, this will be hard. but i guess we can make the most out of any experience right? </p>

<p>hey yea I’m here. I’m going to try to do research with a local prof but Ill see what happens. lol this sucks. I could always do promys again</p>
