<p>A friend of mine has already left for Stanford to participate in the Stanford Summer Engineering Academy. Now, the engineering doesn't interest me personally, but are there other programs out there like this for other fields? I saw this is something you apply for in June/July, so I feel as if I am already missing the boat on things...</p>
