Who plans on attending OU in the fall of 2006??
If its you tell how much you love it and list your major

ME!!! (maybe ;))
Journalism. Oh yeah.

Just got officially accpeted to OU Chemical engineering

Congratulations!!!!

I'm in, I just don't know if I'll actually go there.
Major : Int'l Business w. German

welcome 2 the club!!

Let me bump! I'm in!
Major: Sport Management

lol... im terrybhs06 with a new s/n.. i want to go to ohio but i have a full scholarship interview at xavier in a few weeks... so unless ou steps it up i might no be joining you guys

I really hope Ohio gives you more money. I know how much you would love to go to Ohio, and how it's your dream school, and it's a shame if you can't go there due to financial reasons. From your statistics, it seemed like you would be a great candidate for Ohio, and I don't know why you wouldn't get ample scholarship money there.

Hey Wolves, congratulations on getting in! Join the club :)

Terry, good luck at your interview! I hope it goes well.

just got my scholarship stuff from OU, im guaranteed 15k and i have an interview in march for full tuition, book allowance, room and board, and a research opp (templeton scholar)

Terry!

That's GREAT NEWS!!!!

I'm so happy for you. 15K guaranteed is nearly full tuition!

How was it distributed? How much was in the gateway program, other programs (I know I had a similar ACT, so i'm wondering myself! lol)

And I have no doubt you will be a Templeton scholar.

10k from kcp, 4k from gateway (500 meal discount if you want to put that in) and 1k for completing a summer program

Hey congratulations! I can't remember, are you instate? Cause if you are, then that's practically a full ride! (and, what's kcp? I'm drawing a blank???)

im out of state, kcp is king/chavez/parks (diversity scholarship), i got 7500 for gateway but with kcp im only eligible for out of state discount..

that's still pretty good money, no?

I got my scholarship money today.

6750 per year. Exactly what I was expecting.

That's what the 29 on the ACT got me, lol.

yea its still good 15k all together with my ment stuff and i should get something from that gateway grant b/c i just got my EFC and its only 3500 a year

Wow, that's an incredibly low EFC. You qualify for the Pell Grant with that, meaning you'll get about 4500 from the government for free.

I still think you will get that full tuition scholarship.

I'd bet so. And even without it, with that EFC and the scholarships you've gotten already, I wouldn't be surprised if you pulled off a near-full ride anyway.
