I am transferring to either OU or WVU for petroleum engineering. I was wondering which one has the better overall experience…social life, academics, good staff, wild parties…etc
There’s a thread on Reddit with this exact title, so search there, is my suggestion.
I’ve visited both. WVU is sooo hilly that my legs were hurting within minutes of walking around. It’s a pretty school, with some amazing views of the surrounding area, but you’d really have to be cool with steep hills to enjoy it. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, limiting your internship options.
Just visited OU last week…really really pretty school. Friendly people, stunningly beautiful campus, lots of petroleum industry companies in the general area with Oklahoma City just up the road.
