Out of state admission stats?

I'm planning on applying as an out of state student and I'm wondering about the average UCSC out of state student. What are GPA and SAT averages etc?

There is no separate breakdown of stats for OOS students other than a 3.4 minimum GPA is required to apply and you must meet the a-g UC required courses.
http://www.ucop.edu/agguide/a-g-requirements/index.html

Here is the average Stats for admitted students:

Another link for the common data set which shows about 8% of admitted students (Freshman) were accepted last year.

They enrolled 2 males? Also they have 96% of people in the top 10% of their class? How is that possible with the reported average GPA? Am I reading the common data correctly?
@Gumbymom can you help :)

I think you are looking at the part-time enrolled students. UCSC enrolled 1490 full-time freshman males and 2 part-time. Also regarding 96% of applicants were in the top 10% of their class. In California, if you are in the top 9% of your HS class or in the top 9% in your state (ELC eligibility), you will be guaranteed a spot in the UC system. Both my sons, were not in the top 10% of their class but based on their SAT/ACT and GPA, they were in the top 9% for the state. Also the average GPA reported on the common data set is unweighted on a 4.0 scale. OOS students usually have a higher threshold for the GPA and SAT scores, unless you ask for no financial aid (full pay), then you have a better chance for acceptance with lower stats.

Thank you so much @Gumbymom, makes sense.
