Out of State Chances?

<p>Alright, so I already know that UofW is pretty selective with its out-of-state. And I understand it's worth a shot to apply even if I don't get selected, but if it's totally unlikely, then I don't want to bother. Sooo....</p>

CR: 730
M: 710
W: 720</p>

<p>Full IB Diploma Candidate
GPA is about a 4.2 UW, 3.8 W
Class rank is 7/327</p>

<p>ECs:
Speech and Debate
->National Forensic League Academic All-American and Degree of Premier Distinction; x4 National Qualifier; 2x Idaho State Finalist (DI)
Student Council
-> Frosh Sec, Soph Sec, Junior Pres
Coeur d'Alene Committee of Urban Forestry
National Honors Society
National Merit Scholar (I don't know how far into it yet, obviously; 201 on PSAT)</p>

<p>I know schools are all about the minorities and diversity and what not. I'm, uh, white and wealthy so no racial or economic favor there.... xD But I am gay. Which might be considered a minority in Texas, but Seattle: eh, not so much.</p>

<p>^ You should not have any problem getting in @ UW. I am told that IB carries a lot of weight at UW.</p>

<p>I say you’re an IN, even for out of state. Just have good, solid essays. :)</p>
