Hello all… Clemson does not offer an Out-of-state (OOS) waiver, but rather fixed amount scholarships. The $15,000 scholarship brings OOS tuition pretty close to in-state rates.

Admissions does super score on the SAT for admissions and scholarship purposes.

ClemsonCES, do you work for the university? If so, perhaps you can answer a question: If one has not heard from the school at this point, should one assume that scholarships are off the table and stop checking the mailbox until around February 15? Thanks.

DD was not selected for NSP weekend. She is in top 1% of her class with a 35 ACT, the usual slew of APs and dedicated to an extracurricular activity. Congrats to all who were selected. She did receive the top academic recruitment incentive, but as others have noted, it does not cover the out of state premium. Tiger10, we are keeping fingers crossed for other scholarship opportunities.

Thanks. Good to know. We are currently freaking about University of Florida, which notifies Friday (online). We’re in Florida, and UF and Clemson have similar programs in my daughter’s major of choice, agriculture. However, depending on the result with UF (whose esoteric admissions process makes sense to no one but them), we may go back to freaking about Clemson on Saturday.

May I say I am glad the post office is going to stop Saturday delivery AFTER my daughter’s college admissions process is over.
