Hey guys, I was wondering the actual amounts that out of state students earned towards their tuition last year. On the website it says that if you're in the top 10% of your class and have above a 1250 SAT then you can earn a scholarship of between $7500 and $15000. Im in the top 20% with a 4.35 GPA and a 1330 SAT ( I go to a very competitive high school). Do you think I can still qualify for the scholarship? If so how much do you think I can get? And as I said before, if any former out of state applicants could share what they received I'd appreciate it. Also my mom is an alumni, I plan on majoring In business or health science, and I live in NC, if any of that helps. Thanks so much!

I doubt you’d have a chance for the scholarship - they seem to be pretty strict about the top 10% class rank requirement

When we spoke to the reps during the info session they said as long as you are ton 10% you will get something.

2 years ago my son offered $10,000/year. He had a 34 ACT and 4.03 GPA. He was not in the top 10%… I believe he was in the top 12%… My point is that you most likely won’t get $15,000/year, however you will probably get something.
