Clemson Financial Aid?

I really want to go to Clemson but I'm from NC! How is the out of state tuition?!? Ideally I would like to get my tuition down to in state levels! I get good grade and am improving my test scores, doing tons of volunteer work and trying to get into internships! I want to major in premed or some sort of bio major to either be a doc. Or a vet! And do they use weighted gpa's?

I meant out of state scholarships and financial aid stuff!!

Clemson scholarship criteria: <a href=“Office of Student Financial Aid | Clemson University”>Office of Student Financial Aid | Clemson University; (think they use unweighted GPA’s)

Tuition: [Tuition and Fees : Clemson University](Cost and Aid | Clemson University, South Carolina)

If you really want a scholarship, 2 things: GRADES (need to be top 10% in HS) and TEST SCORES (minimum scores listed on the link above)
none of the other stuff really matters

Keep in mind you would also probably get a $2K grant, in addition to scholarships, simply for being an out-of-state student.

I didn’t get a 2K grant…

Really Pierre? Maybe it’s a new thing. Sorry dude. I was actually expecting it — if you go to the Clemson website where they talk about all of the available scholarships, it’s listed right there. It’s for non-South Carolina residents. Maybe you could get it for your remaining years?

hmm that’s interesting, maybe they determined that I didn’t have any financial need haha

Yes, you are probably right. Don’t they realize we ALL need financial aid?
