Out of state transfer to uc

Hi, I'm currently enrolled in a 4 year university and filling out UC applications for fall 2013.

Stats
Applying to: UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, USC
Major/major intended to transfer into: Global Studies/International Relations
GPA: currently 3.76 (after this semester, it's most likely going to drop to a 3.71 unfortunately because of two B's... but I'm also taking a winter session class and that would raise my gpa up to a 3.73. Also consider that I've taken honors courses and worked while in school)
Work/ECs: Medical related internship in Thailand (where I also taught English), Student Ambassador of the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences--Co-president of the Global Studies Department, Honors College Ambassador--fundraising branch, Political internship with an organization defending women's rights and placing pro-choice Democratic women into office (a crazy feat considering I live in a dominantly conservative Republican state, a job from last semester, a job now, and various clubs (pertaining to my major but I figured those aren't too significant)
Community service: I've done tons of events through my internship and Ambassador positions. It's just a matter of picking which ones are most important to me
Awards: Scholarships for high grades/gpa and Dean's List/Honorable Mentions for gpa

I think my ECs/community service are decent and will hopefully make up for my crappy gpa. I'm also working with a mentor who has experience with admissions on my personal statements and taking a bold attack with those that will make me stand out...

Please chance! I'd really appreciate it! And all those other crazy out of state hopefuls would benefit too.
