I have been a clemson fan my entire life. i cant imagine going anywhere else. In my freshman year of high school, i hadnt thought much about my future, but now as a junior, i have been picking it up. i had a 78 freshman year, 85 last year and this year so far i have a 90. im hoping that clemson looks at my improvement alot because each year is supposed to be harder but ive been doing better and taking more challenging classes. i attend a top 100 high school in america and my father, and two cousins attended clemson. i took the SAT as a sophmore and score low, but i took it withlout having learned the math. i got a 1080/1600. i know that extremely low, but i know i can get it up. i have yet to take the ACT. i am a member of the varsity football team, varsity track and field. im in varsity club i have a job and i volenteer a decent amount. what do you think my chances of gett accepted are.
also does clemson look at all 4 years of highscool the same or is junior year more important
thanks

Usually colleges will consider you if you have an upwards trend in your grades and show improvement from year to year so I think all 4 years of your high school record will be considered this way (also helps if you have taken difficult courses). Definitely bring that SAT score up to at least 1200

Hi Im from New York in a catholic high school with an 89 avg and 1180/1810 SAT. Clemson is by far my number one choice but I am not sure if I can get in. 5 kids from my school applied and I know thats a factor. Just wondering what my chances are

well you’ve got a shot - don’t see why you can’t get in with 5 people applying there from your school, it’s happened before from schools
