<p>Hey I was wondering if anyone could please chance me for UMD-College Park</p>

<p>I'm an out of stater
SAT Scores
Reading-550
Math-740
Writing-670
Essay-11</p>

<p>I'm a Junior an all IB school, so the course work is extremely difficult. In case you don't know what IB is, it's basically AP but on a Global Standard, and I manage a GPA in the high 80s. (87-89ish)
I'll have an excellent letter of recomendation
Extra curriculars- I'll have 4 years of baseball, 4 years of volunteer service at Ronald McDonald House, summer job in both sophomore summer and junior year summer....More extracurriculars to be added</p>

<p>Having such a huge difference in your SAT scores looks very bad to colleges. If you retake and get your english scores up it will help. Your GPA is also quite on the low side for that school. If you’re a recruited athlete and can get your SAT’s up you might have a shot, but right now your stats are just too low. :/</p>
