AIM: SonyaCho999
holla~

This is exciting stuff. More of you are committing to Michigan than I had anticipated. Yay!!! Seriously, you have all made a decision that you are going to appreciate in the future. There is no better undergraduate experience than Michigan.Welcome to the family.

Officially sent in my deposit last week. GO BLUE!

I am strongly considering Michigan. I will fill out the enrollment deposit soon. I went there yesterday, and I think it is the best college town ever. Too bad for stern even if I like the school. It costs too much and offered no financial aid unlike Umich, which is offering 30k a year to an out-of-state student but including loans and work-study. (Still a good deal.) Ross is just as good, and I hope I can make it after freshman year. I really think I can live in Ann Arbor for four years.

Maybe this is not the right thread to ask, but when I visited yesterday, we weren't allowed to tour the residence halls because of finals. I just want to know how the dorms are. But not like that matters so much because since the campus is so nice, I'll be outside most of the time. Thanks, and congrats to all those who are going.

hey guys i changed my sn, its not Otownzdreamchica, its wutang741, spank that ****...

Redhare- you can take virtual tours of the different dorms on the housing website

Thanks samwise. I didn't realize that.

I have everything prepared: the LSA honors card and the enrollment deposit are ready to go. All the 5 schools I decline are also ready to go.

Go Blue.

I hate to tell you guys this, but I've decided not to go to UMich in the fall. It was my clear second choice, and I had a hard time deciding, but I have decided to attend Swarthmore College instead. I know it's weird that my final choice came down to a school with 1400 kids and a school with 22,000 kids, but that's how things worked out. I was actually all ready to send in the deposit form to UMich after Campus Day, but alas my next stop was Swarthmore...

But don't worry, I'll still root for UMich sports for the rest of my life, and I'm definitely considering this place for grad school. GO BLUE! Good luck everyone; I'm sure you all will thrive @ UMich it's truly a kickass school. Enjoy watching UMich whoop on Notre Dame and THE OSU next fall!

College_Hopeful, that was a great choice you made. Swarthmore is an awesome school. I know teo girls who graduated from there...both loved their exprience. One ended up getting her PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago and is now working at the IMF and the other got her Law Degree from Michigan and is not working for a major Law firm in DC. If you prefer a small and intimate atmosphere, you could not have picked a better school than Swarthmore. Keep us posted and all the best.

Hi, I'm from Missouri. Can anyone tell me what Int'l Studies are supposed to be like, and how the French exchange programs are designed? More specifically, are you truely thrown into a French-speaking environment, housed with French students and attending French-taught classes, or are the Americans grouped together?
Thx
