Hi everyone! I'm Becky from CT, and I most likely will be going to UMich. How many of you are out-of state? What other notable information would you like to share? I'll tell you all that I'm probably going to be in the Residential College (for creative writing) and that my acceptance to both the Honors Program and the School of Music (for opera) is pending.

Also, I like long walks on the beach, pina coladas, and boys from North Carolina.

Howdy, I'm going to be Wolverine next year from New YorK! I plan on either going to the Honors MLC or the Health Sciences one. I like to ski even though i'm fairly new, hopefully there's a club for it!

Hi, I'm from PA and I may attend Michigan next fall for engineering (still deciding between a few schools).

Also, I like rainy days with short periods of intense sunshine, sunny days with short periods of intense rain, anything having to do with fighting gerbils, and girls in general. I've never experienced long walks on the beach or have liked pina coladas much.

hey dudes and dudettes, I'm Umar and I'm from the wonderful state RIGHT NEXT DOOR to michigan, ohio lol. I'm going to be paying a full $38,000/yr cause i live a grand 10 miles from the michigan border. I'm the quiet and shy type at first but once you get to know me i'm lots of fun and ill hang with ya all the time lol. This sounds dorky but lord of the rings is AWESOME, my favorite band is coldplay, and i dunno, i just hang out doin w/e. I've walked along the beach and its nice but there arent many beaches in ohio lol.

I'm a classical vocalist and although for a long time I listened exclusively to classical music and opera, this year I've branched out - my favorite band is Coldplay, too, and I like a lot of other music including jazz, gangsta rap, and classic rock and roll (like The Who).

I also have two cocker spaniels and am a twin. And have a lot of red, curly hair. And am freckly.

Hmm, I've never played an instrument before except for a 2 month requirement for a music class (went to Catholic School for 10 years!). I really can't wait to go to college though! I've never been to Michigan, Pittsburgh or even Ohio before--it's going to be great to meet people from all over the nation! I would describe myself as an outgoing person who knows his limits. Being a second term senior rocks though, i don't go to school on fridays and I've been keeping myself busy with Spring Break planning and just hanging out at hookah bars and such! See ya in August!

hi from IL here....grrr to out of state tuition. i just visited U Mich yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. i love the campus, the people, the food (hehe jk..i hear it is horrendous). I'm majoring in biomed engin (methinks). A bit about me: i play the violin, fyi to the other violin player, sharmusic.com has its headquarters IN ann arbor, and i bought awesome LOTR music the other day, i also am a math nerd, i'm a cullinary arts fanatic (meaning Food TV) and i love to travel. we should totally do a chat sometimes, guys. nice to meet you all. later!

Too bad the campus days aren't just on one day. Hey, did you all know that the Borders there is the original one? And it is at Michigan that Kennedy proposed the idea for the Peace Corps?

Michigan rocks. We definitely should all meet, or at least have some sort of AIM chat or something.

Whats up--UMich engineering here
Out of state NY here, definitely attending next year (go wolverines). I LOVE walks on the beaches, love beaches, love swimming, love boardwalks...etc. I love the cold (think it's beautiful) as much as I love the warmth. ummmmm I'm a lazy senior, I want to go to college already! Thats it..

Btw, someone should definitely set up a chat date for all of us CC UMichers to go on. Post it here so that anyone can join if they want~

heeeeey now this is what im talking about, getting a little wolverine pride here, i like it...im stephanie from new jersey---and its not what u think it is, central jersey is gorgeous and classy and all that goodness... LSA for next year and i dont know where i want to live...can someone explain to me what a residential college is? i love going to california, watching the OC, listening to music--john mayer is probably my favoite but i listen to a bunch of stuff, and shopping....favorite movies--dumb and dumber, rush hour 2, the patriot, how to lose a guy in 10 days, napoleon dynamite, happy gilmore, ...a lot of stupid humor....

hi swooshstar, reeses, and karido - what are you guys all interested in studying at michigan?

swooshstar - the residential college is kind of a small-liberal-arts-college-within-the-university where about 900 students live together in a dorm and study courses for certain majors, like language, drama, and creative writing.

im debating between psychology and comm studies...i want to either be a clinical psychologist or go into advertising, i always thought it'd be cool to do ad campaigns for a designer like tommy hilfiger or dior...thats my girly side haha

Hi, I'm Sean from Connecticut. I got into LSA and the Honors program. I play trumpet and piano and am more of an english fellow than a math fellow, though I do like physics. However, I was accepted by U. Va. and I think I'll be going there. Michigan still rocks, though. Good luck to all of you next year!
