wow lots of texas! im from texas too.

now are all you guys going? (That's the real question.)

Im going--sent in the SIR a couple of weeks ago, right after getting back from Cal Day. Other Texas Bears, what part are yall from? Im Houston.

Im from plano.

Not to disrupt the thread, but I have a question for the texas people. I assume that if you got into Cal from out of state you had pretty good stats, atleast enough to get into U of T. Maybe its just because I'm not from Texas but I always thought going to U of T would be pretty awesome. I've heard Austin is one of the coolest college towns in the country. So the question: Why pay more to go to Cal when you have a great school in your backyard?

I didnt apply to UT-Austin, because I was on the campus for a few days for a camp, and I just didnt click with the campus. There was no real feel of the campus to it, it was really intertwined with Austin, and hard to tell where the campus began and ended.

im from sugar land

from korea, just one of many already there
