Could I put the ECs I do outside of school on my college application? For example, I take a dance class so would that count as an EC even though I do not take it at school?

yes of course!
like most of my ECs will be out of school

even if its a dance class...it still counts as an EC?

most definitely...anything outside of your normal academic curriculum.

As long as it's not 1 dance class in the 4 years, that'd seem rather pointless.

If you do it regularly then it should be considered an EC. I take ballet regularly and plan to put it down on college apps. I'd write down any exams you have taken and passed also.

I wouldn't have had much to write on my application if I hadn't included out-of-school activities. :p

hmm..I do alot of stuff regarding the internet, coding, designing, helping, etc. I plan to do some type of computer engineering in college. I don't know what to write on my app for this, that is, if I can.....?

I used to be a part-owner of a fan site, however that was nearly 2 years ago and we're no longer running it, can I put that down as well?

hmm, for the fan site girl-->it depends on how popular the site was, etc...it's one thing to have a huge site with nice graphics, coding, etc, with lots of visitors as opposed to a geocities page about like, some rappa. hahah. I'd ask the school, though (callll em up)

I'd most definitely put outside stuff-piano, dance, volunteering, etc
