<p>I have applied to several schools that I am confident I will get in to. Purdue, however, is my dream school and my reach school. I just wanted opinions on my shot to get in. I am also aware that it is possible that I will get accepted but not for engineering, which is something I would accept from Purdue</p>

<p>AP classes taken: Statistics (3), English (4), Physics, US history</p>
<p>Honors Classes taken: Geometry (8th grade), Algebra II, PreCal, Trig, Anatomy, English 10 and 11, World Civilizations, Spanish</p>
<p>AP classes currently enrolled in: Calculus, Biology, Environmental Science, Literature</p>
<p>Every grade in my transcript is an A or a B besides 2 trimesters of Spanish, 1 trimester of AP US History, and 2 trimesters of Geometry in 8th grade (those are C's)</p>
<p>I also have a trend of increasing rigor in my coursework, with my junior year being composed entirely of AP/honors classes</p>
<p>EC: 4 years of varsity football (captain as a senior), 2 years of track, 1 year of wrestling, National Honor Society, Student council, Work ( mcdonalds)</p>
<p>I realize my gpa is pretty low but I guess I'm just hoping that my classload will make up for that. I've been working pretty hard. But please, what are your thoughts? Do I have a shot? Even of getting accepted without the major I would like.</p>
