Outstanding EC's related to literature/political science/humanities?

Hey there! So I’m quite worried about my EC’S; they’re not as strong as I’d like them to be. This year I’m moving to a new school (it has a LOT more resources than my current school) and I’d like to take advantage of every opportunity I’m going to have there! I’m very interested in political science and literature (probably going to do a major/minor), but I’m open to anything related to Humanities.

So… what are some possible outstanding EC’s on these branches? Maybe a summer program, an internship, some kind of project/club, etc (I’m not very savvy on this, as you may notice :frowning: ) I already do Model UN, but I want to try something else and expand my horizons. I’ve explored a lot of threads related to EC’s here on CC, but most of them are STEM-focused (or are very expensive).

Important: I’m an international student, so if you know any program that’s focused on internationals, that’d be great!

You could volunteer at a local politician’s office or on a political campaign.

submit your writing to contests/magazines, and/or start a literary magazine at your school (someone started one a few years ago at mine and it’s become decently popular already)

Hey, I’m also someone interested in political science. I’m a sophomore, and I hope I can give you some ideas:

President, Founder of the Political Science Club
President, Founder of the FBLA
Officer in Student Council (ran for Treasurer — figuring out if I won today)
Core Student Body Leader
Member of my school district’s board
Elected peer leader for a bullying prevention group at my school
NHS
OMUN (running for office)

Outside of school:
Working on an attorney’s campaign for Congress for this fall’s election

Hope this helps!

Thanks!! This is great help.
