the weather.com site has weather per month

I would bring as much stuff as you can fit in your car. Who knows if you will be coming home on fall break, and it can be a pain to ship stuff. I brought all of my posters, bedding, summer and fall (with sweaters) clothing. I left pretty much only my heavy winter jackets. If you have space, use it. And if you think you might not need a shirt, bring it anyway.. you can use it for working out or party themes, etc.

As for laundry.. Clinton street is the ****. $1 per pound. However, I recently found a laundry service where they pick up your laundry at your house and deliver it back to you. I'll figure out the number and post it. It was really close in price to Clinton, but you should tip the driver a few dollars.

Jcas is correct in all details - the other service with the pickup/dropoff service is called colonial cleaners. Their prices (at least for mens) are comparable to Clinton street or cornell laundry - $1.00/pound for wash and fold and $2.15 for dress shirts pressed on hangers (5 or more shirts, I believe).

The only downside of the colonial cleaners place that they take cash or check only - no credit cards.

My house has an account with them now, so the people charge their cleaning to the house, the house pays it & delivery gratiuity, and then the people settle their debts with the house at the end of each semester... much easier than scrounging for cash.

By the way I'm not sure if they'll do delivery to dorms, but you guys have RPU and appel anyways so I'm not sure if it matters.
