<p>Well I don't have a whole lot I will be doing over the summer, but here are my major ones:
1. Studying for the PSAT
2. Working about 20 hours a week.
3. Going on vacation for a week.</p>
<p>Anyone else have any good ideas (That aren't like go spend a month in another country)?</p>

<p>You might wanna go camping or something.. maybe take a summer class? not like hard ones but u know like fun ones. Like you, I am studying for the PSAT/SAT while taking a local summer program. I'm also planning to go on a retreat with some of my friends. If you do sports at school, then conditioning and stuff starts around August, at least in my area.. so that takes up about a month of your summer.</p>
<p>doing a little bit of service never hurts whether you're trying to get into college or not. its a rewarding thing if you enjoy what you're doing.</p>
<p>study for APs instead of the PSAT...I guarantee it will pay dividends throughout the entire school year.</p>

<p>um...well i'm taking a summer program (art history and planetary science repreeseeeentttt!)...and studying for the SAT/ACT.</p>
<p>Personally, I'd suggest you STUDY your butt off for SATs, NOT PSATs...If you can do 2200+ on SAT, you are set for semi on PSAT...plus, getting it out of the way early = great junior year. I got a 2120 in October, and it was a lot less stressful than thinking...oh God! what if I get <1800? Or actually getting that score...</p>

<li>Making movies with my friends for film festivals next year</li>
<li>Practicing guitar for some competitions next year/ensemble auditions + practicing with my band</li>
<li>My cousin is coming for a week; we're gonna jam and hang out with friends</li>
<li>Finally...SAT/SAT2/Summer Homework</li>

<p>Busy summer, but hopefully it'll be fun.</p>
<p>I'm gonna apply to all the programs next year really early. =o This year I didn't have an opportunity to really do any courses at a college over the summer.</p>
<p>Go to the beach (there's a reason why school lets out).</p>
