<p>I think its as competitive as you want it to be and then competition is really with yourself. People are extremely friendly. I've borrowed notes from people. I've let people barrow my notes. If you have a question you can typically just ask any of your classmates and they'll help you. It's seriously friendly and not cutthroat at all. That's one of the reasons I came here.</p>
<p>I 100% second what Chloe said. The students here are very competitive with themselves, but not with each other. In my experience people are extremely helpful and eager to work with fellow students.</p>
<p>yay, that's good to hear. thanks! :) does the friendly ambience apply to all the schools for nu? i applied to medill and since the students could be vying for internships and whatnot, do you think they are still not very competitive with one another?</p>
<p>In think it applies to all schools, but I haven't had much experience in some of them.</p>
