<p>All the various cliches about college stem from the experiences from different types of people. The oft-heard, seldom-realized cliche of getting your bachelor's degree and landing that dream job originated from people with career-oriented majors that, by and large, entail taking at least two semesters of math for every girl kissed.<br>
The notion that college is a place where you chase AND catch many a woman while BSing the occasional essay is one that no doubt originated from those with majors where writing a 15 page paper over the course of three months is the most stressful thing they have to do.<br>

<p>I agree, but at the same time by no means is partying not an option. I'm an engineering degree and I do my fair share of partying on the weekends. As long as you're dedicating equal time to schoolwork it's still okay to have fun.</p>
