I just got accepted into UCSD and I am debating whether to do the overnight, 3-day program. For whoever has done this, is it worth it? Did Triton Day provide you with a lot of useful info?
Also, I’ve heard it is difficult to get the classes you need. I’m planning on majoring in Public Health so I will need a lot of general science prerequisites- are the classes huge and is it difficult to get into them?
If you can go to Triton Day, definitely go to Triton Day. I didn’t do the overnight program, but Triton Day sold me on the school.
I’ve gotten all of the classes I needed this year except one, and have only been waitlisted one time. Public Health is a pretty solid program, by my understanding. General science classes are usually large, but if you go to enough office hours you can establish a relationship with just about any professor.
