So besides the Accepted Students Weekends (which I hear will be announced soon?), does Georgetown offer any other way to get to know the school - ie. overnight stays? The website doesn't mention anything but I thought I'd ask since Georgetown's website isn't exactly the most user-friendly.

None that I’m aware of, but there certainly could be… best advice is to drop admissions a call… it will take 5 minutes max and you’ll get the most up to date answer

They never have in the past, which is fairly frustrating. Last year I found someone that I had never met before that was willing to allow me their floor for the night. They were in fact a great host, though. I’m sure you can find similar arrangements if you are committed to doing so.

At least back in my day, there were overnight stays available. I’m afraid that my memory is very fuzzy of the whole thing, but there was an option to do an overnight stay separate from GAAP weekend. There was also some program where if you were in town you could have coffee with a current student, but once again I’m fuzzy… expect to hear something from admissions about all of that, and if there is no such problem, I’m willing to have coffee with anyone who will buy it for me and talk about Georgetown.
