i heard that georgetown doesn't offer overnights which is kind of discouraging to me. i'm going to the GAAP admit weekend in March and i'll attend a few classes and everything but it's not quite the same. can anyone confirm that it's impossible to schedule one?

I don't think you can schedule one through the admissions office unless you are a minority going for Hoya Saxa weekend, or are International. Otherwise, your best bet would be to contact a student directly, most would be more than happy to have you do an overnight with them.

Accepted students can schedule overnights other than the weekend.
From the GAAP website:
-Stay in a freshmen or sophomore dorm for one night, Sunday-Wednesday, and see what it's like to be a Hoya! Email guovernight@gmail.com with the subject line: "Overnight Visit." Include in your email your full name, city and state, and intended date of arrival. We request two weeks advance notice and can only offer overnights if there is space available. Please do not make travel arrangements until your visit is confirmed.

k thanks guys
hah, i guess that means ill be making two trips down there

Only Sunday to Wednesday? That'd be no fun.

Sunday to Wednesday isnt bad. go see a basketball game while you're there.

Its alright... but its no where near as fun as if you go on a Friday or Saturday night.

I'm seeing the Georgetown v. Marquette game this weekend. I'm psyched.
