<p>Has anyone done an overnight stay at Penn? Was it worth it? I am thinking of doing one, but I don’t know if it is worth missing school.</p>

<p>I stayed overnight! It wasn't official though because they get booked really quickly and I just decided a week before to go up. It was really fun. A friend and I stayed with someone we knew. We had both already visited so we didn't take a tour. I guess my schedule probably wasn't like what you'll do if you go through their overnight program..but I'll tell you anyway! We had lunch with one girl we knw, then went shopping with her and her friend. Hah, I know that sounds really pointless, but it was really nice because they talked to us a lot about the people, classes, social life, etc. and it was a good way to get a feel for the city outside of the campus. That afternoon we walked around campus, looked at buildings, and went to the admissions office. We hung out in the dorm we were staying in and had dinner with another person we know. That night in the dorm we stayed in the common room in the dorm and did homework and watched TV with other students. We also ordered some cookies that were delivered to the dorm and I would highly recommend doing that if you go! The next day just..hung out in the dorm some more then went to a class. We went to History of Jewish Civilization, which I thought would be really confusing because I'm not Jewish and it was the middle of the semester, but it was amazing. Afternoon..we just walked around some more, hung out, etc. I guess we didn't really do that much, but it was just good to spend time on campus to get the feel for what a regular day is like and what the students are like. You could probably also go to some club meetings or something. One guy we met offered to take us to the student government meeting. Everyone was really friendly. You should really go visit, it was so much fun.</p>
