I looked on the website, and there doesn't seem to be an overnight program for prospective undergraduates (high school seniors, in my case).

Am I just wrong? Have you ever heard of prospectives staying the night?

Also, something related (mostly for current Stanford students):

I have basically a full day to visit Stanford. It will be in late September. What events/places do you think would give me the best feel for Stanford life? Would visiting a class be a good idea? Are there any big events on campus in late September that I would want to attend?

Sorry for so many questions, but I knew I could get help here :D

If you're a ProFo, then Admit Weekend or an adjusted Admit Weekend (such as arriving and leaving early) is of course available. If you haven't applied yet, I'm sure they do have summer programs (EPGY and the such) and tours of campus, but over-night stays? I really don't know.

Brown, for example, has admit office sponsored overnight stays with current freshman for any and all prospective students regardless of admit weekend. I did it, and it was great. As far as I know, Stanford doesn't have anything of the sorts. My suggestion is to find someone through a friend of a friend that's a student and stay with them. That's what I did, and it was really great!

I know that once you get in, even if you can't come to admit weekend, they'll set you up with a room host anytime in April if you ask. I don't know about before you get in, though.
