overwhelmed by housing options! help?!

hello everyone.. i am slightly overwhelmed by the housing situation. Any guidance would be very much appreciated lol

so does choosing an LLC limit your circle of friends?... I am in CBA, and i know i will be taking classes with other CBA students, but don't want to limit my myself by committing to a business-related LLC.

also... what dorms can be recommended that are close to the center of campus/marino center? i know some dorms are in Roxbury and heard that that can be a pretty shady place at night so i don't want to be stuck living somewhere where i don't feel safe...

so in your opinion...what are the best freshman dorms? and if you do end up in a "bad" dorm, does it ruin your freshman experience? thanks everyone =]

But, 1) LLC probably won't make a huge difference in your social life. Initially, most of your friends will be dormmates, but eventually everyone kind of gets mixed in. LLC isn't for me, but I'm sure a lot of people really loved it.

2) The only freshman dorm in Roxbury is Parcel. We don't really know the situation with Parcel because it's brand new. But it'll be safe.

3) No. A bad dorm will definitely not ruin your freshman experience. :D

Can you characterize the kinds of students that this LLC draws? And are LLCs historically in a specific dorm, and if so, which one(s)? Thanks!
