Im east europian student.I need full need of financial aid.i want to attend in 2013 fall.

I had little business of watches during 2009 fall -2011 fall.My annual turnover was 2500 $.If it is interesting,i bought watches from USA,made advertisements via internet. During this period of time i learned the most important basics of marketing. (reading marketing books helped me a lot.)

Will my experience enhance chances in wharton school admission and does, owning a business reduces my chances of 100 % need-based financial aid?

The business is not a big deal. WHat is most important are your academics. Needing FinAid and being an international applicant are very big hurdles.

Owning an interesting business will contribute to your application at Wharton. Many applicants have started businesses, the admission committee will determine how much it will contribute based on your business concept and success.

Not many internationals get a full ride at Wharton, you will need outstanding academic accomplishments too. And yes, expect to pay part of your earnings towards tuition.

I dont understand one thing: i earned money to buy many things (from clothing to laptop and pocket money)…why do they think that i saved money for learning in college?

Colleges expect the family to contribute all it can to college, making it a priority over other purchases. Therefore they look at income in determining what you can pay, not expenditures.
