Oxy vs. Scripps?

Tentatively, I would like to major in international relations and/or environmental studies and policy. I'm not sure which school would be better for that course of study (bearing in mind that Scripps=Consortium). I plan on applying to study abroad, applying to internships, and continuing on to graduate school. I'm really stuck because I like them both, and they will both cost the same amount with financial aid and everything.

If anyone can provide a good juxtaposition about anything at all, it would be much appreciated. :D In fact, hearing some honest downsides to each school would probably help out more because I've heard great things about both, but really, ANYTHING will help.

Thank you very much!

Scrips

Reasons:

 1. Endowment is $155 thousand per student at Occidental and $234 thousand per student at Scripps
 2. Scripps ranks higher on the US News LAC rankings (25 vs. 33)
 3. Scripps has the Claremont Consortium, which is a HUGE bonus
 4. Forbes ranked Scripps as one of the thirteen most beautiful college campuses in the WORLD

In the end it all boils down to fit. If you like Occidental more, go there. But if you like both the same, go to Scripps.
