So I had an amazing unofficial campus tour with a professor and current students, got a jaw dropping academic scholarship and was super excited and confident about the audition.
Sadly, it felt like a cattle call. There was no interview or any effort by the auditors to get to know us as individuals, and the dance audition was a joke. The choreography was taught way too fast. No one could do it. We thought either they were assessing us for something other than dance (patience?attitude?) or playing “Let’s see the monkeys dance”.
Any one else have a different experience? This was at LA Unifieds.
