I was accepted into the Lubin School of Business with a amazing scholarship but can not find much info about the Pleasantville campus. Most of the posts are about the NYC Campus. The only thing I can find is that the parties are not great, which is not my main focus. Can anyone please let me know the real deal about the Pleasantville Campus?
You should visit the campus, it is 100 acres gorgeous wooded, with a pound in the center. There was a current student on this board, but I am not sure where she is. Lets say the environment is rural yet its not far from any urban centers. The town Pleasantville is only 15 min. walk away, a small town feeling but expensive. Take the train at Pleasantville, you can reach White Plains and NYC in no time. We used to bring the food from supermarket using their cart. And if you schedule your class right, you may go downtown for a day of class, there was free school shuttle between the two, not sure if still there is.
Class size is very small, 30 at the most and that is accounting 101. The profs are very personable and you can go to the office hours any time.
Congratulations.
thanks
One thing I can guarantee about pace westchester is that the academic standards is as high as NYC and they will drop you or drop your scholarship if you fall behind. They will take in 80% of the applicants but it is easy in, difficult to be out. Their graduation rate is only 36%. Perhaps among those who dropped out think it’s too easy, but most of the drop outs could not handle the work. Pace takes business majors seriously, as that is where the founders started the school.
