<p>After each paragraph, take the time to write out a brief line or word that reminds you of what happened, who said what, etc. It doesn't take too long...</p>

<p>Read the first passage, answer all questions based only on that passage, read the second passage, answer all questions based only on that passage. When you have answered 5-6 questions per passage, you will have reinforced your understanding of which author said what. Then, skim both passages if necessary before answering questions pertaining to both passages. Of course, always go back to the text to look for support for each question.</p>
