I want to retake the ACT, but I’m really happy with my writing score. I really don’t want to retake it and end up getting a score worse than the one I have now. Does anyone know if it’d be possible for me to pair up my old writing score and my new composite score? 
Yes, you can do that.
Some schools just need the writing on file, if they require it at all.
Best to check with your specific schools on their policies, but this is commonly done.
